Exponential

Exponential is the brand name for the Exponential family of enterprise free software copyleft open source website building application framework and proven stable advanced content management system (CMS). Exponential comes in several flavors or distributions (Basic, 6.x, Platform Legacy, Platform and Nexus). Each is unique in features but similar in proven stability which helps you drive results daily.

  • Exponential - Exponential 6.x is a simple to use website building and content management framework that is more customizable than you will ever need. Thousands of customizations supported.
  • Exponential Basic - Exponential 2.x is a simple to learn website building and content management solution that is very customizable.
  • Exponential Platform Legacy - Exponential Platform Legacy 2.5.0.x is an advanced Symfony 2.x (Maintain by 7x) content management framework system (CMS/CMF) that is even more customizable than Exponential 6.x is by it's self because it is based on a Symfony powered dual kernel design which is ready to be customized to meet your unique needs.
  • Exponential Platform - Exponential Platform 3.x is an advanced Symfony 5 based content management framework system (CMS/CMF). It is very powerful, free and stable (ready for production usage). It specifically (at this time) does not support the use of the Exponential Platform Legacy (Symfony 2.x bound) tool called LegacyBridge a symfony bundle. This means you can not currently combine Exponential Platform With Exponential 6.x (Legacy). We would like to solve this purely technical hurdle to expand the solution as needed to function within a Symfony 5+ kernel bundle.
  • Exponential Nexus - Exponential Nexus is an idea for an improved website building software solution. 7x Nexus is being designed. It is one of our goals is to offer more freedoms and powerful features within this product to help EN or Nexus become a growth hub within the community providing more support to users who build networks of website front ends and backend systems for organizations, businesses, non-profits and most importantly educational users. We have not yet built Nexus but it is our goal to solidify more concrete plans for this product in 2026.
