Blog.kracker.org covers the latest in the life of one //kracker.
ATOM Feed for Blog @ https://blog.feed.kracker.org/
In today's summary judgement post on the blog.kracker.org is continued revised coverage of the kracker.org site design refactoring that has recently released in the past few weeks (rolling deploys).
Today if you go to grahambrookins.com, digg.one and hackernewsdelta.com you will see in these website footers the Slashdot Footer Fortune Quote Text (With Links to when they exist in the historical record that is the internet archive).
The messages come from the geek news website portal slashdot.org archived on wayback machine and restored on kracker.org and beyond via syndication for all to enjoy per page reload (random and dynamic).
There are as of now over 4.3K of quotes stored on on the quotes network from kracker.org.
* We plan to store some of our own unique quotes from other sources in the future to add on to this section of dynamic content display.
** We also plan on sharing this content freely with some of our other project websites for fun!
Enjoy the new content on the kracker.org network!
Cheers!

In today's summary judgement post on the blog.kracker.org is revised coverage of the kracker.org site design refactoring that has been going on in the background for the past month.
Today if you load kracker.org and go to the footer you will see random dynamic cryptic messages from long ago.

Long story
Kracker [dot] org hosts quotes from kracker [himself] since 1999.
In 2026/05 kracker wrote code in PHP to query the internet archive wayback machine web services (cdx) for all pages for domain slashdot.org since 1997 to the current year.
We wanted to mirror the fortune footer quotes content found on the site and archived on archive.org servers.
The project was a success and at the time of this writing we have scraped and imported over 3838 quotes and counting as we are not yet finished with the archival work.
See that every page load on kracker.org network of sites now displays new content in the end of the pages; a footer quote from slashdot which is dynamic and database driven and multi stage very very random.
Happy 6/7 Kiddos! Collect all the quotes on earth!

I'm a text files fan from back in the day, it's a format that resists loss or corruption, i use it to keep a written record of my copy and paste buffer contents for historical records.
I'm once again listening to classic Geeks In Space (Slashdot Radio) at Texfiles.com
A warning to viewers: Once you become a CowboyNeal Fan you just stop doubting yourself and then you really start to shine in all things. hehe ... kung-foo
